1.type 25S1EK MX II
  No vision - wont tune in. C119 (47n) IF unit on 
  pin 2 IC101.StBy LED changes red to green but 
  no line drive.Check Q902 V if missing R903 (2K2)
  oc. 
2.AV21F1EK JX
  After 5 Mins Pic shakes from left to right some
  times violently. Text ok but in mix mode no 
  sync.C02 or 6Mhz crystal.Comes on for 10secs 
  with LEDS lit but no picture and then goes off.
  Remove plug "Q", AT if psu runs 127v, replace 
  IC801 (TA8216AH).
  Picture looks to have hum bar on it. L2001 in 
  chopper base feed oc Pt-No CELC005-2R5.
  Repeated failure IC3101. Change C105 to 4.7uF 
  link -VE to IC3101 h/sink. 
3.AV21H1EK AV25F1EK JX
  Int RF, could be mistaken for tuner. Clue is No
  OSD. IC522 dry joints.
  Starts up then shuts down. Q031 oc.
  No Teletext. SAA5243P/E on text panel. 
4.AV25FX11
  Pic pulsing, HT constant. DJ - hairline crack 
  on C011 PSU panel. 
5.AV25S1EK
  Dim pic. C1206 leaky (3.3uf).
  No line drive. R903 (2.2k) base bias to Q902 
  slightly high. 
6.AV28F1EK
  Int loss of sound and picture. AGC preset int 
  oc.
  No nicam LED. D102 dry (green led).
  No sound. ICP on audio sub - PCB (check 12V on 
  R911).
  Hour Glass effect. Replace both memory chips. 
  C140
  Set switches off, changes channel, adjusts volu
  me etc all int!!. Crystal on sub panel dry. 
7.C14A1EK
  Not switching to standby. Q903 (2SA1370), also 
  check Q902 and Q904.
  Stuck in standby. D581 open.
  Wont go to sby, just dims picture. Q1901 s.c.
8.C14E1EK
  At switch on the set comes on in standby. When 
  the standby key is pressed the relay can be heard
  to click but nothing more happens. No sound or 
  vision. R323 (6K8/5W) fusible resistor o/c.
  The set would come out of standby and appear to
  be working quite normally for several minutes. 
  It would then shut down to standby without 
  warning. Pressing standby again would bring it 
  back to life for another few minutes when the 
  same thing would happen again. R323 (6K8 5watt 
  O.M.F. Resistor) fusible was going o/c 
  intermittently. 
9.C14ET1EK
  Sound muted/erratic and non linear/erratic 
  frame scan at the bottom of the screen. First 
  check to see if the auto search tuning stops on
  channels or just skips past the stations.

  If the auto tuning fails to stop change the 
  following parts:-

  Q605, Q618, Q619, Q620, Q621-----(2SC1815-Y)
  D607, D608-----(1N4148)
  R403, R404, R433, R434, R435------(0R68/0.5W safety)

  Q402-----(2SD400F)
  C406-----(220uF/25v)
  C433-----(220uF/35v)

  The last time I had this symptom it turned out 
  to be just C433. Tip supplied by Stephen Rawlings.

  Int. Switches to standby. D507, D508, Q508 and
  Q509. 
11.C21M3EK
  Power supply not starting up. C910 (0.1µF). No
  remote control. X601, wrong part fitted, should
  be 4MHz it had a 17MHz one fitted the same as 
  the TeleText XTAL.
12.C21TX1EK
  No sync. X002 6Mhz XTAL us on text PCB.
